Do you accept insurance?
Please note that I do not accept insurance, but I can provide a Super Bill that you can submit to your insurance provider. While reimbursement is not guaranteed, you may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement of psychotherapy expenses through your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider in advance to determine if you have out-of-network benefits for behavioral health services, ask about your deductible and assess your anticipated reimbursement rate for services.
What are your fees?
Sessions are $220 for 50 minutes. I offer a sliding scale, on a limited basis, for those with financial need.
How long does therapy last?
I generally focus on shorter-term goals, helping you build the skills and confidence to make lasting change. The length of treatment depends on factors like the complexity of your symptoms, session frequency and the time and effort dedicated to treatment, both during and between sessions. After the evaluation, we'll discuss an estimated treatment timeline based on your goals and progress. Typically, treatment lasts a few months, and at most a few years.
How does intensive therapy work?
Intensive therapy offers multiple sessions per week, providing more targeted support for OCD and anxiety. It’s ideal for those looking to step up their level of care to address persistent symptoms or for individuals who haven’t made sufficient progress with standard treatment. It’s also a great option for those stepping down from a higher level of care, such as an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The goal is to provide focused support while offering flexibility to adjust to each person’s unique needs. Intensive therapy typically includes 3-6 hours per week (up to 90 minutes each) for 4-6 weeks. Please note: Intensive therapy differs from an IOP, which involves at least three days per week with sessions lasting a minimum of three hours.
What is your cancellation policy?
Kindly notify me at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid a full session charge. Rescheduled appointments should take place within the same week to prevent additional fees.
